Empowering global collaboration and sustainable growth in the sports sector through our partnership in the Water Sports Festival project, showcasing our confidence in fostering inclusivity, community spirit, and a diverse sporting experience.
The Water Sports Festival (WSF) project confidently achieves much more than promoting diverse water sports in partner organisations. It inspires a fresh approach to sports, encouraging social connections and extended engagement in various sports, reducing the risks of early sport specialisation. This co-funded project by the European Union enhances club operations and equips staff to organize international events by collaborating, sharing expertise, and introducing trendy sports such as finswimming. Inclusivity and grassroots values are paramount; the WSF project aims to expand its reach not only in the EU but worldwide. We can draw inspiration from the WSF project and work together confidently towards common goals, creating a positive impact through sports that promote teamwork, inclusivity, and a love of physical activity.
Sharks Sports Club, from Sollentuna (Sweden), was established in 2016 and is active in triathlon. Its members are already active in triathlon, which is predominantly practiced outdoors. Its coaches need to deepen their knowledge on swimming and learn about other indoor water sports, which can be practiced during winter.
