Sharks Sports Club, from Sollentuna (Sweden), was established in 2016 and is active in triathlon. Its members are already active in triathlon, which is predominantly practiced outdoors. Sharks Sports Club is powered by Komet, with Sharks serving as the project coordinator, and the club is looking to broaden its horizons.. The club’s coaches recognize the need to deepen their knowledge on swimming and explore other indoor water sports, which can be practiced during winter. They are also focused on attracting new members and volunteers who can contribute to and take over some of the administrative and organizational roles in the club.

Sirens Aquatic Sports Club, from St. Paul (Malta), was established in 1930, and especially in the last 20 years is fully active in the promotion of water polo, swimming, artistic swimming and other aquatic sports. Its needs refer to the strengthening of the capacity to introduce finswimming and SwimRun to their scope of activities. Both sports can be practiced in open waters and don’t require additional investment in infrastructures. Sirens is looking into gaining knowledge and expertise  in organizing and promoting sport events at international level. Introducing new water sports nationally as well as hosting international events will contribute to Maltese sport tourism.

Novi Jelkovec

From Sesvete-Zagreb, Croatia, our club was established in 2018 and is active in competitive finswimming. Being located in a suburban area is one reason why our swimming pool’s capacity is not fully utilized. Therefore, the club needs to attract new members and introduce new sports, which are not currently present in Croatia, but would be very attractive, especially to the younger population. Additionally, the club needs to build its capacity for organizing sports events. In Croatia, the finswimming environment generally lacks experience in organizing events that can attract media attention, sponsors, and new members.
